    Over night in central NM

    Hey y'all,
I got an under-quilt this Christmas and I'm looking to put it to use this weekend and I'm looking for a hike around 15 miles that is around 2 hours from Albuquerque. any suggestions?

You might want to check out http://www.explorenm.com/hikes/ Lots of info on hikes by region, trail info, distance, maps, etc..

Fellow new-mexican here. You got a lot of awesome places within 2 hours of Albuquerque. The jemez, santa Fe, and the Pecos wilderness (my favorite since i live in Pecos). The area around Cuba I heard is really nice too. Priller (another NM member knows it better than I do) We're (priller and I) planning a trip pretty soon...(next couple weeks).

    Have fun...

I would highly recommend the san pedro wilderness in cuba! I never see people past san gregorio lake. You can pick up a map from the ranger station and hook up with the vacas trail up to the parks.
