Hey guys.

With a little Christmas money around I'd like to get myself a TQ. It needs to also be good to use on the ground as when I'm with my girl or my dogs we go to ground.

I'm wondering about a down TQ vs a synthetic. Realistically. During summer camping I sweat a good bit at the beginning of the night. I'm worried about down getting wet and losing effectiveness over a couple of nights. Can someone offer real world advice on this?

I like the idea of synthetic for muggy conditions in Virginia. I'm worried about the packed size. Does anyone have a stuffed size picture they could share? Also any info or review info or recommendations would be appreciated. I figure a 40'degree quilt would cover basically my entire hiking season. (Spring to fall)
