So to be honest I don't know. I did own a 10' wbbb once, sold it.
    I am 5'9" 195 and find the 11x60 great.

On the zippers for a Dream I would contact Randy and tell him what you are looking for. That way there is no mistake.

    Thanks for your help man.
    Much appreciated.
Im asking a lot of questions....some probably don't have a good answer.

I was thinking of the Thunderbird because you get a overcover for a little less than the WB XLC but was wondering if the WB's view was worth the extra cash....

The better view with the XLC is a nice bonus for sure. I'm personally not a fan of top covers as they were very prone to acting as condensation traps in my experience with them. I found them effective in a pretty narrow temp range (maybe 20F to /30F). Colder than that resulted in condensation for "me". Warmer than 30F just not necessary to use at least in my opinion. If I were doing deep cold camping though I'd look hard at a good quality "heavier weight" canvas sock like the one MacEntyre made for Fourdog a few years ago.

I have seen a Dream Hammock "Dangerbird" model that fellow member watertones has and it was nice. Quality right on par with the WBBB.

I'm actually using a 9ft hammock currently (ENO), and that seems fine for me (5'5"). I'm actually a little concerned that an 11' might be *too* big for me, if that's possible.

"IYO is having doors that actually close up w/ velcro or snaps worth the effort and weight?"

Yes. Without the velcro, the doors weigh maybe on ounce or two.
9,000 ft up with rain and 40 mph winds, it's worth every ounce.

Here's a page that describes the zipper options available.

    Hope this helps explain it.
