Plan on doing the TCT in Sept. Any hang issues? Thinking about Marion Lake, Death Canyon or Alaska Basin and one more. I've heard North Fork around Solitude Lake is sparse but Holly Lake is probably a better option. Anyone hang this trail?

Sept is kinda late and you will definitely need to be really prepared for snow as I have had it snow on me in August. I did TCT but it was tenting and a few years ago..and lot of it was at tree line for campsites so you will be good to go hanging here and there. But, I would be alittle concerned about Sept at that high up especially anymore as funky as the weather is. Enjoythe beautiful country tho..This might help a bit.

I plan on doing the first week. Beat most of the summer crowd and hopefully have some decent weather.
Anytime is a good time in my book,,,Yellowstone and the Tetons are awesome in the winter also. Just have to gear up for it. As much as I hate to asy it,,there is a few peeps on BP Mag's forum that have a lot of info and answers a lot of questions on Tetons also or used to be,,I haven't been on it in a couple of 3 yrs since I found hammocking myself..but look in the forum section for the western states.
Trying to decide on the Basins or Sunset lake. Any suggestions?
No suggestion on camps but I was there about 10 yrs ago tenting in early September and we had 3-4' of new snow above 9-10K feet. There was a very heavy moose population and bear population when I was there so watch yourself. I believe moose will be in rut that time of year so stay clear of bulls, also bear vaults are a must. Enjoy the spectacular scenery....
I'll be watching the weather closely and coming up with alternative plans. Can't wait.
I live in Teton valley, hit me up with a pm if you need a place to stay or anything else, help with shuttles etc. Haven't done the crest trail yet, but you won't have any problem finding trees.
