Hello All. Looking to get another Quilt that can be use in various options. Anyone useing the Old Rag Mtn as an Under Quilt, how disrupt work out? Any drafts? I have a BlackBird and DangerBird Hammocks

I set mine up as an UQ when I first got it back in Jan. Used it two nights in the 20's with an UQP. It took me some time to rig it up as an UQ but once I got it set up, I had no issues at all. I order the rigging for it from JRB when I ordered the Old Rag.

I have also used it when going to ground. I tied it around the ground pad just to hold it in place slipped in and spend a good night under it.

I have a JRB The Nest that I normally use as my UQ so the Old Rag ends up as my TQ most of the time. Both of my hammocks are HH.

So with it not being a taper cut there are no draft issues? Dose the suspension hook on loops or a continuous tube for shock cord? Thank s for the response

Sorry had to actually see how I had done it.

There is cinch strings on top/bottom of quilt so I tightened it up around the hammock with those. There are also tabs on the top/bottom of the quilt. Those I hooked the JRB suspension on to then attached them to the suspension of the hammock like the directions show. I did not experience cold spots after I adjusted everything a couple of times but I also had an UQP under the quilt which I think adds some heat to the system.
