I dont really want to get the expensive, full size quilt for the HH (potomac) but I'm wondering whether the Jarbidge river UQ will work.

My jarbridge seems to fit my HH explorer deluxe nicely.

Yes it does. I used mine on my expedition before I got my wbbb.

I have a HH and a Jarbidge, no issues at all (I have the zip model HH but used it on the bottom entry as well)

Absolutely the Jarbidge works on any gathered end style hammock. The Potomac is more form fitted but the Jarbidge is a popular choice for nearly any hammock you can name. For Bottom entry versions I generally recommend the Triangles to go along with a Jar as they help to keep it in place right where and how you want it.

I might just have to pick up a jarbidge and triangles thingymobobs. thanks!
I tried my Jarbridge on my HH Ultra-lite Backpacker bottom entry (a short 8 1/2 foot hammock) and it worked fine without the triangle things. I can see where the longer hammocks might need them.

I could not decide whether to get a New River full size or Jarbidge. So I just got them both and tried them out on my DIY and my HH and they both work great. The new river has a little more coverage but they both work great. The New River comes up a little higher on the shoulder area. Both are really warm. Had them down to the 20,s. The quality of work is great. I can say I have really enjoyed my Christmas present.
