    Hello from Quebec !

    Hi !

I have been browsing around this site for a while and finally decided to register and be more active.

I live on the south shore of Montreal and camp a lot, often with my hammock. I use a Kiri, which I guess is made locally and not very popular but still a good inexpensive hammock at 40$/piece. I am quite heavy so the double was a must.

I camp year-round in all kind of weather, but mostly for fishing trips in my zodiac.

My goal on this forum is to learn and share relevant info based on personal experience.

Nice to meet you all !

Greetings form Eastern Ontario. I used to own a Zodiac as well. It was 12 feet of fun weighing less than a hundred pounds with a 15 hp merc on it. After 10 years of loyal service it gave up the ghost (boat - not motor). I still have the merc looking for a new vessel to call home.

Nice! I used to have a 12 feet with a 3.5 hp but now have switched to a 16' with 40hp 4-stroke. Surprisingly enough, I needed something bigger to go further but ended up carrying less stuff since I went with hammock camping instead of big tent !

    Nice to meet you !

Welcome from another neighbour in Ontario, this one from the shores of the St Lawrence. If you have already been browsing about for awhile I don't need to tell you what a great place this is for folks and info. Enjoy your stay!

Welcome from Texas. I love canoeing the boundary waters and have done most of my travels north of Quetico in Ontario.
    Thanks,
