Hello from Sterling, VA:NEW to Hammock Camping
New to Hammock Camping. Have spent many years camping/hiking, but with my bad back and my work schedule I have not been out there in many years. Then I heard of this Hammock Camping & I love it. Planning on doing a section of the AT with my son during his Spring Break. Any local suggestions for VA/MD/WV are welcomed.
Oh yea! I have 2 ENO reactor hammocks and my old USMC MSS plus one I purchased off of Ebay.
Welcome from Warrenton. AT with the son = great plan. Timing/weather coordination is everything. Mid June to Mid August can be pretty humid/buggy up there. My youngest son and camping buddy is in the USMC (in Japan).
