I am even more excited now! I will be making hammocks for my wife and 2 other kids. My wife is so funny because she really doesn't care for camping too much but is willing to give this a go. She wants me to put a memory foam mattress pad in her hammock to keep her warm/cool. A little bulky but I think I can make it work.

Be sure you put in Knotty Mods, they will really help hold the pad in place. Otherwise, they tend to flop out of the hammock.

Are you talking about the stretch sides or does he have another mod you are thinking of. I plan on putting a shock cord the full length of the hammock on both sides to pick up the slack.

This sounds like a great trip. You can count me in, I'll try to recruit another one or two to carpool with me up.

Please tell me other people are bringing their families and kids. Otherwise mine will be bored to tears!

    I'm in.

I'd like to show up early or stay late and packraft the A and B sections overnight and hike the trail back up. I can supply one extra packraft or you can rent them in SLC and Jackson Hole pretty cheap.

    Any takers?

Muse and I will be rolling in on Wednesday in the afternoon. I would love to stay more and have extra time but 5 days is going to push my budget of time away from the family.
