    Topquilt within $150?

I'm having a bit of trouble finding a TQ in my range (If there is one) of around $150. I would like to try to get into the 30 degree range. I use an ENO double nest, ENO Vulcan UQ. I use a mummy bag with the opening in the back atm or just a wubby in summer/spring. I see some TQ in the $225 range, but would like to try to shave that down. Any recommendations would be appreciated. If I'm being unrealistic let me know. Thanks.

Underquilts.com has some options. You can get a fully finished 3-season for $180. Or you can get a shell for $85 and stuff it yourself!

Good stuff, thank you. I don't think I'm quite up to stuffing it myself, or I'm fair certain that my wife and I can sew the shell ourselves. (just got her a Jenome serger for Christmas). Underquilts.com seem to be the most reasonable price so far.

The Owyhee TQ is available from Arrow Head Equipment for $180. Its a bit more than your budget, but its the cheapest produced UQ that I know of.

Another point to note, I believe it is synthetic quilt as well, and not Down though I could be completely wrong about that.

Stumbled on that one tonight. I'm leaning that way or I may just have to suck it up and save a bit more. The $150 was just a ballpark knowing I would have to spend more. I just didn't want to start with $300 in mind from the get go.

I will tell you that I DIYed my quiltset for around $50 - $60 bucks. I harvested down from a pillow I got off ebay super cheap and used 1.9 Ripstop I picked up from Hancock's Fabrics on sale. Took me all told about a week, slow sewer, and made a mess with the down.

Next time I will most likely buy premade, just not dealing with the down would be worth it.

Oh who am I kidding, I loved every moment of it and will likely continue to make my own gear.

GoLite Z30 down quilts were on sale for $175 but I think they may be out of stock now, might have to keep an eye on the site or give them a call.
