    Greetings from Belgium, Europe

    Hi everyone,

my name is Sam. I love backpacking and bushcraft and are relatively new to hammocking (tried it out in october and been loving it ever since) but now it's my primary sleeping system in the woods.

I'm also a photographer (mostly abandoned places and urban exploring) and bring my heavy dslr camera and a ukelele along with me.

I was looking up some ways to hang a hammock and found Shugs youtube channel (wich directed me here, thanks for that).

My current hammock is a DD travel with the DD tarp but I also have a DIY hammock with integrated tarp and bug netting (pretty comfortable but I made it a bit too small and because the tarp is integrated there is nowhere to hang my equipment to stay dry).

My favorite knife is a mora companion (it's super cheap and pretty sturdy).

    i'm 1.85m (6.06955381 feet (6 feet 53⁄64 inch)) and weigh 92kg (202.825281 pounds)

I'm looking forward to explore the forum!
    Bye!

i'm leaving you with a recent picture i took

Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.

There are times that the only way you can do something is to do it alone.

Hey there! Just got done enjoying some excellent Belgian craftsmanship! I won't go into details but 'Hi Power' should suffice.

I'm a big fan of the Mora Companion as well.

Excellent photograph! You'll fit in just fine. Welcome!

    welcome

Welcome from Nashville Tn. I got a chance in the early 80's to spend 6 weeks in Belgium.
We spent most of the time in Brussels . I loved it.
