Because HG usually rates their products at 40, 20, 0 degrees, are you saying these are a 40 degree Burrow and Phoenix? I'm not saying they wouldn't be comfortable at a lower temperature; I'm just trying to identify it in HG's product line.

It says 40* in the OP. He was referring to taking them below the rating with a good base layer.

Brady is right on, sorry for the confusion. Both Top and Underquilt are rated at 40* but I was comfortable with a good baselayer down to mid to lower 30's in the PA area. YMMV
