    Hello from AR

I see that there are a few other Arkansans on the forum, so I thought I'd introduce myself. I've been studying the ways of the hammock for about six months. I went on my first hang in September, and aside from a tree strap failure on the last night out, it was a blast! Can't imagine why I didn't think of hammocking sooner! I'm still cobbling together my gear, so you'll probably catch me on the DIY forum a lot. Anyway, it's nice to be here! I look forward to learning a lot from the folks on the forums.

Welcome to the site from a GA hanger.

Once you get everything built and out in the woods, don't forget the rule. Pics or it didn't happen. You have plenty of natural beauty up there, we would love to see it.
