Official NEHHA Nor' Easter Trip Report

Hey folks I don't have a lot to add at this moment but I wanted to start the thread. I can not say enough of all the help that was received over the weekend to help everything move smoothly. You guys are awesome.

This was a special weekend. We had all hoped and anticipated cold and snowy weather. While we did not get that, it did not stop the heart of the weekend; The camaraderie! A HUGE tarp also helps too. Rain, WIND, insidious fog and 50* temperatures could not dampen the spirit of the hang.

We had a great turn out. Almost double from last year. That is saying a lot about this group. So in conclusion a huge heartfelt THANK YOU to all that came and made this weekend what it was.

    Sincerely,
    Nighthauk

You're so right! The weather can't stop us from having a great time! We experienced quite the mix of crazy New England weather and loved every second. I'll post pics and more later but first I need to recover from food coma.

It was great meeting up with old friends and making new ones. The weather was wild, when we showed up there was snow on the ground. That quickly changed as rain and fog took over the show saturday and mother nature even threw a little thunder in to make it interesting. None of the weather held us back from the camp fire story telling and joking around. There was so much food i dont think it was posible to go hungry. Thanks to all for making this another grest trip.

"have you seen my chair?" , relax thanks for being such a great sport. I know someone had a fantastic picture of it i hope gets posted.

The coffee is on and my cup is dry, later guys.

I swear is was colder at the fall hang. I really enjoyed this hang. Now go out and spread the good word of scrapple. It will be a new New England craze.

Another great hang and much applause should go to Tim & Pete for bringing us all together and all the work they have done. Especial thanks to Skypainter for bailing me out again. Last year we had 10 inches of snow, this year a dusting of snow on Friday then rain Saturday followed by high winds this morning. Great food from donuts and pancakes by Dutch for breakfast to another great roast for Saturday's dinner with countless other food in between.

Oh god, I hope not, we are crazy enough as it is. I once asked a waitress at a 24hr diner in Carlisle PA "what is scrapple" cause I like to try whats local and the first ingredient she listed was "pork product" . So I ordered it, looked at it and did not even touch it.
