let us add another way to set up a rectangle tarp....
conventional form though, A-frame style with doors, and resulting in a Hex style shape with corner doors...but I haven't seen this method of using a V guy-line for the sides.... done with a 11 year old Wal-Mart "9x11" poly plastic tarp, which has 5 grommets on the short side and 6 grommets on the long side, equal spacing....
two stakes for the sides, one per side, with the guy-lines being rigged into a V shape; this provided me with ample clearance on the sides for the hammock, though the tarp length is not enough to cover where the spreader bars are.... also rigged directly to the tree straps by way of short lines to the closed loops of the hooks. doors can be guyed closed or open, providing me with a way to angle into the wind, and some privacy
