The most fun part of building a hammock is sewing the 2nd and 3rd rows of stitches for the channels! If I could only sew that fast all the time!

Heh.
Sunday morning I spent very carefully making three rows of stitching 7 feet long.
Sunday afternoon I spent ripping them out b/c I had folded the hem to the wrong side.
Hammocks more fun than quilts fer shur.
I know that feeling. Makes you focus like a hawk too.
It deserves it's own meme.
I always thought that the best part of making a hammock was testing and quality assurance.
- We're never going to survive this!!
- Nonsense. You only say that because no one ever has.

So far the best part for me has been buying and fixing the machines. Its also the only part I have been able to do. My singer 476 is fixed and put together, but not timed yet, and my 15-91 is waiting on new wiring and some polishing. Soon I will know the pains of diy. I really am having fun. Enough to maybe buy a few machines to fix and polish and resell. I bet I could geta few hundred for my 15-91 and I will have about 90 in it.
