    Whoopie savior

    OK.
I've had real big troubles pulling whoopies through and if i'm lucky, then getting them back out. I've found nothing from this forum that deals with this problem. I've spent minutes in shame trying to work with my messed up whoopies.
    So, what you gotta do?
Here's something that helps, another cord pulled through about an inch from whoopie.

    Here's the worst case scenario:

And here's what You get after first pull from the white cord:

The added cord, or "Whoopie savior" shouldn't affect the strength of whoopie cord.

People use beads or split rings in the adjustable loop. Others bury a short two inch length on amsteel just at the opening of the adjustable bury. All of these prevent the loop from being pulled into the bury.
Don't let life get in the way of living.

Yeah +1 on the beads. I think that is the most common one recommended. I have used nylon washers before and they work well.

I bore out the middle of a button for my whoopies. The world of buttons is pretty huge, and you can go pretty minimalist or very creative with them.

I ran into the same issue. I used a small split ring on the ones I had already made. For the new ones I used a craft store bead.

    +1 for beads, sort of...
When making my whoopies it didn't have no beads on hand, so I cut short "rings" from my platypus tube

    OK, that's good to know.
Hadn't heard of beads till now :P
I've tried to avoid keychain rings and other stuff that may look to unexperienced guys like a part of suspension, but bead sounds nice.
Probably I'll still use my system as long as it lasts.

I use glow in the dark beads. Debating whether to splice a short tag line with a knot into the set that I did not use beads on.
Nature restores my sanity. Seeking to get out more.

I'm always on the lookout for cool things to use as a whoopie bead. Dice are nice - I just drilled a hole in them:
