I also just purchased a SuperFly. Does it need any kind of water proofing or is it good to go ??

I used this and it's working 100% after about 2 years.

Cut a TINY hole in the nozzle and apply over the stitching for the side pullouts. I had just a bit of water coming thru; not bad, but enough to make me want to seal it.

You'll want to seal the 4 panel pulls, the ridge seam is good to go

Congrats. The superfly was not my first tarp but it is the only one I use now.
