    lightweight ridgeline inside Spindrift?

I've seen some posts where people have added a small piece of grosgrain/webbing to the inside of the Ridgerunner bugnet to be able to attach a lightweight ridgeline. Some have beefed up the shock cords to 1/8" on the outside to support any extra stress. Has anyone modded the Spindrift in the same way? I've made a whoopie sling out of Lash-it and would like to use it on the inside of my Spindrift. Just not sure how/where to sew a loop to make the connection with the way the ridge portion of the Spindrift is sewn on with a piece of extra material vertically. This in turn inhibits the ability to sew to that area.

My first thought is to sew on a piece of 1" wide grosgrain up and over the ridge on the outside for reinforcing and then sew a grosgrain loop on the underside through this reinforcing.

Not well depicted here but I hope you get the idea...

While I have thought of this too the one thing you might have to change is the shock cord tie outs to the suspension for the spindrift. Otherwise any weight would pull down on the sock. The other way is to run the ridgeline through the sock via a small grommet, directly to the suspension.

Just sewed a couple of small loops of grosgrain at each end inside and connected my diy whoopie sling made from lash-it. Worked you great for hanging my headlamp and my glasses.
