Thanks for the heads up. BTW, Redden has lashit for less than 1/2 of what West sells it for. And they have zingit to boot.

Not bad. Even buying a spool of Amsteel from Redden comes out to 20 cents to the foot, plus shipping.

Only 3/16" and larger amsteel blue are showing online...must have ran out.

Not equivalent in my book - Amsteel Blue 7/64 is 1600 lbs. breaking strength; this stuff is 1000 lbs. breaking strength.

SS, the New England website states, 1000 for the 3/32. There are no details on 7/64' so I'm assuming they have discontinued that size. Could there be some additional strength in the larger size? I'm assuming that all 12 strand Dyneema is not the same? Does Samson do something special to there version? Either way at that price I can find a whole host of things to use it for.

Wow, this stuff is tiny!! Being only a few miles from the West Marine distribution center has its benefits, just got my order today.

It sure ain't 7/64! It must be the 2mm since its just a tad bigger than the 1.75 lashit I use for tarps.

I'm thinking it's time for my 1st UCR's.
