There has been some postings of others wanting to hike the BMT, but I don't know how the planning has been going.

I do know that YouTube posting for the trail are very slim.

I would like to cover the portion from Springer Mnt. to the swinging bridge over the Toccoa River. That would be a good two day trip for me and the kiddos.

I believe Sgt Rock is the guy to talk to about all your BMT questions, he wrote the guide book for it after all. I've heard it is a beautiful trail without nearly as much traffic as the AT receives, I sure would like to take a stroll along it one day.

when are you thinking of going? (also, have you considered the Pinhoti trail in Alabama?---its alot closer to you---just a suggestion!)
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

    That, I do.

I can talk with the wife this week. I might be able to do a Sunday-Tuesday the week of President's Day (2/16-18/2014), depending on if she can get a ride to work on Tuesday morning.

Let me talk to her and see what's what.
