Some good places out by bend, Sisters area is awesome (Obsidian Trail for example)

All great ideas!
In NorCal we also have Castle Crags State Park and Whiskeytown National Rec Area, not sure how far the SoOr's would be willing to travel.
Depending on when the group hang is, I'd be interested in attending, being as how I live in that mythical state of Jefferson also! =]

Are people looking for more of a backpacking type thing or a car camp thing?
If we can drive to it I would be more tempted to ride my motorcycle down for a weekend with another member or two.
Keep in mind if you make it a longer trail you might want to limit numbers..
20 people on a trail would be chaotic in my opinion. For longer trips I prefer groups closer to 6..

Count me in as a definite possible maybe... depending on location, work schedule and dates decided on.
There is also a grouphang currently in the works for Boggs Mountain (near Clear lake... I think) the first week of April. I know that is a little far for the Oregonians.
I'd post the link but I am currently deployed and on my phone, not that smartphone tech savvy, but it is posted here on HF in the group hang section, if anyone is interested.
I do love me some Trinity Alps adventures!

I'm doing the Rogue River Trail over Easter weekend with my meetup group. We are keeping it small at 6 people and doing the whole trail in 3 days.

I am interested in a Nor Cal/So Oregon group hang. I'm more for the backpacking type of trip than car camping too.
