Not a thru, but I'm beginning my section hikes April 11th/12th NOBO. I hope to complete the AT by 2020 (we'll see). Trail journal link bellow.

I am doing a thru hike with my friend, NoBo, starting April 1st from the approach trail. No trail name yet.

I do plan to start journal-ing but have no domain name as yet.

Hi,
I'm newly minted as "Curious George", and will be starting March 25th. I will walk the approach trail the day before. I'm carrying my NX-250, and a cuben tarp from Hammock Gear.

Trail name SideShow, and I will be starting my hike sometime that last week of March from Penmar park (PA/MD line) heading NOBO. This will be a 1/2 of a thru hike as I did the southern half last fall.

I'm not thru-hiking, but I will be doing two section hikes in Virginia this year. The first will last 4 days starting on June 19 and the second will last 2 weeks starting on October 3rd.

No trail name as of yet. I don't want to name myself, but not sure if I'll end up with a name after my first sections. I'll be hiking with one of my best friends, trail name Wahoo, who lives in the Roanoke area.

I'm starting March 25th, NOBO for second attempt. Trailname 'Ireland'. No blog or journal, just using facebook. Skipping approach trail, I hope. Last start was May 21st, so hard for me to decide whether to tent and mail drop my hammock after the Smokies, or use my hammock from the go get! Last time I was tenting.
