I set up my tarp today with these and was wondering if I was doing it right. It's getting really windy out today in this Midwest snowstorm. I wrapped around the top part where there are notches a couple times then tightened it up truckers hitch style.

I'm not really worried about the truckers hitch, it's more just wondering about where the line goes around the stake

Just below the notches for best bite. I use my notches to hold zing-it. I use the notches to hold the glide rings for my tarp guy line whoopies. I find the notches very useful.
