Ground sleeper with top quilt how to attach to pad?

I got one of UGQ Flight jacket top quilts and I am a ground sleeper for the most part. What is the best way to attach it to my pad. I use an Exped 9 down mat for a pad.

The quilt has the little triangle rings on both sides. I am thinking of what way will provide the easiest entrance and exit of the top quilt.

I don't use straps ... ever.

I would if I was too cold though. In that case, I would mimic Katabatic's design. Check out their website. That said, entrance/exit will be tougher than without straps.

Thanks for the reply, funny you mention Katabatic's design I was just looking at their site. Where would you get the clips they use?

I don't know. Perhaps make your own from thin plastic - such as milk jug, bread bag thingamabobs?

Wow! Is Katabatic using solid gold thread? Pricey stuff. But, I digress...

Maybe,just use some shock cord tied around the loops. My EE Revx has clips that clip to adjustable elastic cords. I leave the cords attached and slip the pad through. The foot box stays on top of the pad. Hope that helps
