Do yall think the park will be back open from the storms by then. Went thru there Saturday really bad. Ranger told me all trails were closed until further notice? Anybody know first hand. I am a newby to hanging but have hiked odom with the scouts numerous times when I was younger. Almost 60 now.

I'm sure they'll be open by then. The hang is in the National Forest anyway, not actually at Cheaha SP.

Are you guys wondering about when they are going reopen Chinnabee Lake?
That campground came up in a conversation with that Wildsouth lady when we were in Sipsey. She told us that the forest service has no intention to reopen Chinnabee Lake. I thought that a shame.
