If you drove to Adams gap, you went right by turnipseed!
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

The hang is not at Turnipseed by the way, it is about a mile south on the Chinnabee Silent Trail at Cheaha Falls. You just park at the lot on 281, or at the pull-off on 600A (closer)
Yeah, they close it from December to March. But the spot we camp is an easy walk from the parking lot on 281. Not towards Turnipseed though. If you park there on 281, then cross the road and walk the gravel road about .5 miles and you will pick up the trail to the Cheaha falls. Follow that and you will find the spot.

Really looking forward to this hang, but not positive I can make it yet. I'll know in about a month.
I just found out I will not be there Friday night but I'm planning on coming up Saturday.
Still planning on being there myself. Maybe we will see anothet wedding party come through.
