AL>2nd Annual Cheaha State Park Hang > May 23-25

Hey Guys I am posting this early so we can get more to come. This is a post for the 2nd Annual Cheaha State Park Spring Hang. Anyone and everyone welcome we will be camping next to Cheaha Falls right down from the Cheaha Shelter. This is just a 1 mile hike in from the turnipseed parking lot. This is more of a hangout than an hike and hang we will be staying right next to the falls so there is not much need for hiking in a lot of water as long as you bring a filter there is plenty. There are many trees to hang from and you can get Cell reception at the top of the hill at the Shelter.

Wish I could make it, but I'll be heading out to work in Yellowstone on May 10th and won't be back until late August.

Hate to see you miss another one but the 2nd annual fall hang will be after you get back so maybe then you can make it but yellowstone is a great place to be. Have fun up there.

On a side note are there any hammock groups in AL that you know of. I am looking for a group to start hiking with and hoping to find fellow hammockers
