Hello from St-Jerome

Hi everyone,

I am Snapper (my trailname from my 2012 PCT thruhike) from Hamburg, Germany - but currently I live in St-Jerome, Quebec. I recently bought into the idea of hammocking, as I was sectioning a part of the AT last year with a friend who was sleeping in the weight weenie micro.
I am going to hang my new shelter system soon, once temperatures allow and let you know if I decide to go hammocking the whole AT (plan for this year...)

I am also from Quebec, living on the South Shore in Longueuil.

If you are planing an AT thru-hike, you will need to invest in some TQ and UQ, meaning low temperatures won't be an excuse not to hang !

I actually ordered the UQ and TQ from hammockgear, but the 40F ones. I will be using extra layers and carry a downjacket. I will be starting late and go fast though, so I will not hit too low temps hopefully
