Boost Your Video Trip Report Views

On some mobile devices, embedded videos do not always show up in HF posts. Increase your video views, by adding a URL link to your video in your Trip Report post. A URL link will allow most mobile device users to be directed to and view your video. This is a simple tool to increase your video trip report views and increase the potential for your youtube channel to gain subscribers.

Good Tip WF. About half of my forum browsing is on my iPhone and the fact that most youtube videos don't show up in Safari is annoying....and I tend to forget to go back and look for the video when I do get a chance to sit down on the computer.

While your uploading, make sure you've set the option to view the video on a mobile device. It's been awhile since I've uploaded, but that option had to be checked in the past.

Thanks for the tip, Wander'nFool! I think it was very thoughtful of you to think up such a thought and tell us what you thunk.

I've noticed if I change the display mode on the thread I can get the videos to show up. It's the last option in the dropdown, "Switch to Threaded Mode". It is easier if a link is included though. Hopefully this thread will be noticed by more than viewed my thread about not being able to watch videos on my iphone. https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...ad.php?t=83182
