    New quilt question

Ok just got a 0°incubator and a 20° borrow in. This is my first quilt setup. I'm out in the yard testing it out at about 8° right now. Slight coldness on my back but not bad the big problem is laying diagonal can't seem to keep it around me. Either my right side is cold or if I move it over my left side is cold any tips would be appreciated

You might try loosening the secondary suspension on the "empty" side of your diagonal lay (side opposite your feet or head), and tightening the secondary suspension on the "occupied" side of your diagonal lay.

When I first moved to underquilts, I had a lot of "phantom" cold spots, but it was just my imagination. I'd suggest you have an experienced underquilt user inspect your hang while you're laying in the hammock. That really helped me.

How high up on the suspension should I hook the S biner the problem seems to be at the foot end not really wrapping around the hammock I think I do have the suspension tightened on my lay side and looser on the other

Make sure your butt is not up on the leg shelf. While laying the hammock slide your hand between the hammock and the UQ. There should be no gap. Get someone to check your legs area.
Also make sure you don't have the end shockcord(head and foot) to tight.
Too tight at the foot will cause a gap at the legs.

That may have been the problem with being on the leg shelf I'm pretty sure my head 2 at the right end but it was pretty far up on the hammock so maybe I was laying low on it
