Well, I made it back to Southern Indiana at 4:16 am on Monday morning.
And I've got to say, the 17 1/2 hour drive was absolutely worth it! A big thanks to Hanger4life, he did the bulk of the driving.
I watched the videos, tested my gear and planned on what I needed to survive in the frigid cold of Northern Minnesota. Being the guy from the furthest southern location I wanted to make sure I had my sh.. together before I got there. I have many years of winter backpacking under my belt, but Northern Minnesota, in January.........?
Where to start, Madhob, Jason, TZ, Strung out, they had everything under control by the time most of us arrived. Everyone worked together and the result; Great Camp, Great Food, Great Fire, Great Stories, and most of all Great Camaraderie. And then of course there was Shug, always keeping a smile on everyone's face.
There were lessons learned and shared by all. Lots of "Hammock Talk" and non-stop eating of some mighty fine grub brought in by all. Want to know how to stay warm in the piney woods of Minnesota, you cut fire wood, lots of fire wood!
The weather was not bad, for Minnesota standards. Our low was -13 Friday night and the wind was gusting around 30 MPH on Saturday night. The snow was deep and like powder. If you stepped off any of the packed down trails running all through camp, you would find yourself in waist deep snow.
It was truly a great experience, one I hope to be able to attend again next year.

Thanks to all.
