Video: Cold morning hang + Contour Roam2 test

Hey guys! I just wanted to share a video I did. I want to practice my filming and editing, and really enjoy watching hang videos, so I though I'd try my own.

Nothing special here, I just go over some of my gear, and enjoy coffee on a beautiful day. It was filmed with a Contour Roam2 camera, and edited on Adobe Premiere CS6.

    Hope you like it!

    Salut…..
Looks like a real nice cracking' cold day in the Canadian Woods. The snow sounds like ours here in Minnesota.
    Camera picture is real nice.
My daughter lives in Québec so someday I hope to come up and hang and eat ketchup potato chips from the hammock.

Merci Shug! You guys probably have more snow, from what I saw of the Frozen Butt Hang. We got drenched with rain a few weeks ago, and lost all our snow "loft" lol. Crunchy stuff now. Thanks for the comment on the camera! I enjoy your videos and your editing. I might borrow that "camera roaming the groud" trick :P

I am glad you did not edit out your failed attempts at starting a fire, it shows why we should carry back up methods and that it's not always done on the first try. Nice camera.
When I was a kid the only time we were in the house was to eat and sleep.

Well I edited the sequence to make it shorter, as it took a few minutes! This is why I love going on small outings like those. It makes you test your gear and be ready for anything. I probably would've succeded if my cotton ball had vaseline, which it didn't. This wasn't the preffered method, as it uses up your ferro-rod, but it works if you're stuck!

    Thanks for watching

I agree. This is a good learning lesson. One is none, two is one and three is two, redundancy and multi use pieces of equipment are good things to have in a pack.
    Nice learning video.

Thanks for the comment! What did i learn? Resupply my matches and buy a new lighter! I had two on me, one i knew was almost out but the other one should've been full. It probably emptied itself by having the button pressed down in my ribz pack. Oh well!
