    sleeping bag

I'm just getting my first set up going, and am looking for a sleeping bag to modify into a hammock sock. If you have something that would work please send me a message; I'd truly appreciate it!

Ben, I have an old rectangle style sleeping bag. No idea of the rating, insulation type or much else about it. It is yours if you want it. All it will take is a meet and greet to hand it over.

ED~ I'm assuming your generous offer is for an old school heaver bag? This is much appreciated, but I'm trying to keep weight down, if my assumption is wrong let me know. Either way lets go fish for some winter steel while the flows are great!

Thank you all for the help with this project!

Ben, old school rectangle, synthetic. Likely three season weight, so it is not new, light or compressible. Let me know if things don't work out. This could be your practice project bag if nothing else. I was going to divide it into two flats, making summer quilts for my girls.

    Ed~
Steeling an underquilt from your girls- that sure doesn't sound right. Thanks for your generosity. If no one else can make this work out, maybe well have to make some UQs together...

Ben, because I never got to make them underquilts from this sleeping bag...lazy...I bought them each a Jarbridge underquilt. They even got them in their preference of camo, one got woodland, the other got multicam.
