This thing of beauty at the first Sherpa Hang took 54 eggs. No potatoes, half a dozen peppers, countless onions and a couple lbs. of cheese and sausage.

Chili for Saturday dinner sounds good. If it's anywhere near as warm as last year or we are out hiking most just grab some light snacks or munchies and after the breakfast it may be awhile before you're hungry.

My bad on the potato's! It must have been something else that Gumbo made with the tater-tots? But the Chili for Saturday Dinner is so do able!!!

Some do some don't on the potatoes in the MM. Just one more thing to screw up the paleo diet I've started. But it was over for the weekend when the grits and cobblers came up.

    So far we have.
    Timberrr & Gumbo - cobblers, onions & 2 DO
    lilricky - 3 doz. eggs
barich942 - chili for Saturday evening, potatoes & charcoal
olddog - cheezy bacon grits, cobblers & charcoal & 1 DO
    emcee - bacon dates
hangnyak - 2 lbs. of sausage
    Bla1z3 - peppers 4 to 6, cheese 2 lbs.
MADD777 - DO and more bacon dates

I'll bring a Dutch oven plus fixin's for Aztec chicken stew (a Babelfish masterpiece). Plus a 2 pounds of bacon and enough big Medjool dates to satisfy everyone.

Looks like I'll be making this one. Still, I won't be in until at least 9:00 PM on Saturday night (and, likely, a bit later). So, it'll be a night-and-morning bit for me...

I can bring 'zones again, if anyone's interested. Or I could pack in something for Sunday morning brunch? Thoughts?
