I bought some Argon cs90 from Dutch to see if I could make a hammock out of it after talking to him about it at the NEHHA nor'easter hang. It worked. Made a brilliant 11' whipped end hammock. The more I hang in it the more I like it, because it's a supper stretchy fabric, it cradles you. By far the most comfortable hammock I've made to date. It also packs down to the size and weight of a softball, and that's including the complete suspension system.
However, that fabric is not designed to be made into hammocks (or maybe it is and it just doesnt know it yet), when I got it I had some second thoughts because it is soooo thin. It's black and you can see through it! Tried it anyway and we'll just have to see if it holds up. Slept in it in the living room last night and I think I'll do that again tonight.
Anyone else tried making a hammock out of this?
