It was a great weekend. I enjoyed my first hang. Thank you everyone for being welcoming to me during the weekend. The food was great. I will definitely be back next year.

Thanks to everyone who helped setup, cooked great food, and tended the fire - we had a fantastic time!

I use a Juki & Pfaffs w/ assorted attachments, and have serviced lots of vintage machines. Any questions?

    Glad you made it out.

Chatting with you guys gave me a chance to check out that diy top quilt that I think is the answer for keeping some of the youngins warm this spring. Gonna swing by Wallyworld and grab a couple.

Soon as I pulled into the campsite I wanted to set up my hammock, but SilentOrpheus grabbed me and said, "You gotta come see this first."

I didn't know if he was going to show me a distinguishing birth mark or a velcro dwarf-tossing board. Instead, it was NJRedneck's "winter tarp," a 250 lb. bombproof Army tent that was more like a condo. He had a 40,000 BTU heater in there. His winter setup was a real chick magnet - NJRedneck had to fight the women off.

Next year he's gonna have a disco ball and a boombox in the tent and charge a cover to get in.

I want to thank everyone who showed up. Once again we ate like kings and like Maple said, if you went away hungry it was your own fault.

I will post some pictures later.

    Oh YESSSS!
That will make a fire which is sufficiently warm for all 45 people to gather around, in stead of needing to sit 2 rows deep. I won't be putting my pot into that fire to boil water.

    GOLDMINE !!!
I need to go grab a truck load of those.

I tried the front row by the fire this time, first time.
Whew, smoking hot, had to move back to the second row.
