Hello everybody, I'm Gresh. This weekend, Palmetto State Hangers had our annual "Frozen Butt Hang" at Sesquicentennial State Park in Columbia, SC and the "Chief Hammock Officer" of fledgling company The Elevated Movement came down from the frozen north to join us in our decidedly less frozen part of the country.
When he came down, he was nice enough to come packing a few samples of the new project he's working on - 100% recycled, custom printed hammocks. This video is an exclusive first look at those, with a little bit of information about what he and his company are doing, how they're doing it, and when it's all going down.
The bullet points:
-100% recycled hammock body material
-100% recycled straps
-Aircraft grade aluminum triglides made from recycled materials
-Fully printed with ready-to-go artist contributed designs or your own custom work on the hammock (not screen printed...it's pretty righteous)
-100% made in the good ol' USA. 'MURICA!
Thanks to him for coming down and joining us for this hang, and for letting us get a look at what his company is offering. There will be a Kickstarter campaign coming soon for people to get in on the ground floor of this and get one of these at a Kickstarter price (which is generally cheaper than the eventual retail cost).
If you have any questions about what I know about these or my opinion of these, comment. I'm not working for the company and I'm not getting anything in return for this video, so I'll be straight up with my opinion. His website is here, and here's his Facebook page.
