Smile 1 inch Premium Black Polyester Webbing

I have had a 1 inch polyester webbing made to my specifications. I looked for a while for the best webbing, but on most weave is too loose on many and the herring bone weave allows some stretch and tends to lets hardware slip. So I had "some" made for me. By some I mean 9 miles . It has a nice tight cross weave and is abrasion resistant. Because I bought a lot I was able to offer it with a low reasonable price. I am introducing it at $6 per 25 foot section. Regular price will be $7

My suspensions will be made from either the black or the camo webbing until I convert to all black huggers and tree straps. I will however make black hugger and straps when requested.

Canadian translation: Over 332 Metric tonnes, eh! Skookum!

But you know Dutch can carry it, and does! He packs it all onto his MacPack and walks the highways of Pennsylvania in preparation for the hiking season; while simultaneously yodeling Beatles tunes in Icelandic and carving Tarp Flyz by hand using only a coffee stir straw and a chromatic harmonica loaned him by Shug.

Is this stuff better in some way than your regular webbing, Dutch?

Yes. Although I liked the camo webbing, I didn't like the looseness of the weave. Although it is soft, it also can snag a little on tree bark. When it came from the supplier it was banded and the bands left marks. The camo is printed after weaving and the new webbing is made with black threads. So after some uses the camo didn't look as good. The new stuff has a really tight weave. It took the factory several attempts to satisfy my desire for the tightest weave possible. The new webbing is firmer but not too firm that it takes up too much space in the pack. Lastly the weave has ther cross pattern so it has friction when those paralell threads rubs against each other and hardware.

Since I was able to do an entire run of it I was able to design it from a hammocker's DIYer's perspective.

You should have seen when I showed up at the factory with my car instead of a tractor trailer like they are use to. I made it fit though.
