I think that the claytor may have a higher weight rating, which I might need

The DD hammock is rated at 285 pounds and good for someone up to 6'5". I had a DD jungle and it's a great piece of equipment for the money, but the bottom single layer is a little thin for my liking.

Sold it after i got a really good deal on a clark nx-250.

And no matter what weight you put in the claytor it'll be more comfy due to the support you get from the second layer.

Just set mine and the wife's up on the same trees. Using a 26 inch spreader bar. Tested it out should work good but I'll need to use my large tarp. Warm enough here I seen some fly's outside today.

Slept in the Claytor last night for 5 1/2 hours last night. I was very comfortable (except my cold nose). Unlike my nights in my other hammock I never needed to pee in the middle if the night.
Used my new al arrow shaft toggles and no problems (with approx 300 lbs me and gear) .
I also compared the coverage of the claytor tarp to my MEC silnylon guide tarp. Other then the MEC tarp having doors the coverage is fairly similar. Can't wait to weigh them to compare the weights.
