I'm on board with the Groundhog stakes. As a matter of fact, I'm on board with just about any type stake you can mention (not necessarily a good thing).

I have everything from .3 oz ti nails and ti "V" stakes to .4 oz 6" al nails to .5 oz 9" al nails plus some .5 oz "X" stakes (7"). A total of 44 stakes in all. I could tie down the Goodyear blimp!

And of course, I have tents to go with all these. Yes, my name is Mike and I have an addiction!

Has anyone used these stakes from goinggear? I also use the Groundhogs and have never bent one. But these are half the price. Any good?

There's a whole thread about them here.

Ground Hog style are overkill for the tie outs. I use simple light stakes for tie outs and Ground Hogs for the tarp which wil get the tension. Use the smaller Ti stakes for tie out that you have in the inventory.

Yep! Good stakes. A bit shorter and no loop of line attached, but the line gets in the way of the shockcord loops on the wing tie-outs anyhow. I've been using them for a couple of months now and like em. I'll be ordering more in the future.

Same here, w/o HF I'd probably still be in the dark using those little flimsy titanium stakes that won't stay in the ground. I finally bent one a few trips ago. When I need to order something, they make good fillers to increase the order amount up over $50 for free shipping!
