I've been thinking of making some Tyvek over booties for use around camp. Don't want to mess up my Multicam booties either. I'm still trying to get used to the feel of the socks on my feet when I'm walking in the house, it feels a little weird walking in them.

Fishbait, yes so far so good for me. I'm waring them on the cold days. I get a little cautious when walking down the stairs because i don't want to slip and tumble... Hehe. Like you I am so pleased w these, I am looking forward to sleeping in the hammock with them. My next outing is in march and m stoked!

Some slip on over-booties with an elastic collar would be a great idea to protect them.

I've worn mine a ton this winter inside and out. Kept my feet plenty warm while camping. Woke up with feet on fire when sleeping with them indoors.
