    Indoor Hammock Stand?

Anyone willing to take a look at this stand and let me know if you think it will work with something like an ENO or standard DIY hammock for indoor use?
While I love Derek's design I just can not see that in my bedroom.

From the looks of it I think it will work great and the price is right.

    Thanks!

I currently hang full time from eye-lags in wall studs. Ceiling mounted eye-lags would also work. No experience with any stands though.

I've been in this stand for over 2 1/2 years. On the road I use a Turtledog stand.https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...ad.php?t=35273
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.

Looks like that will work. I to, use a modified turtle dog stand but I'm having some issues with it. Really all you need to worry about with those stands is distance from each anchor point. I bought a stand similar to that one from academy recently, without checking the distance between each hang point, got it home, set it up, and realized it was only 8 feet apart! Most uncomfortable lay I've ever had in a hammock. So just check and make sure you've got enough distance between each point to give yourself the best lay.

I setup nearly every week for at least a night or two.

The little fella peaking out from under my arm is schipperke Jack, he's an avid hanger who loves the trail as well.

I think I am going to try out this stand.
I do not have a huge amount of room and this will fit without an issue. I do not mind being low to the ground at night while I sleep. I have a recliner for sitting in.

    Any thoughts?

    That will work, too.
I use one of the Texsport Padre Island stands.

I use a stand somewhat similar to that one. I've used it with an ENO single, an ENO double, and my favourite hammock, the one I made myself, out of a table cloth.

Glad to hear it! I decided to go ahead and order the materials to make myself a tablecloth hammock as well. What size did tablecloth did you use? I ordered the 90"x132" for mine.
