    Hammock saves the day.

So one thing i didn't mention in my outing from yesterday was i fell and banged up my ribs. Seemed ok so i continued but i new i'd hit them pretty hard so will probably get some bruising. By bedtime i was real sore and having a hard time bending down or leaning over. I got into bed with great difficulty. Could only lie in one position. Decided i had to try and get up cause i would have to in the night for my trips to the bathroom. It was very very hard to get up and out of my little japanese sleeping loft. I finally got up and went and had a pee and on the way back thought i wondered how it would be getting out of the hammock, I have one set up full time in the living room. Well wouldn't you know it , i could get in and out of the hammock with relative ease so the hammock saved the day or night as it were. Hammock to the rescue.

All that beauty in that trip report, at a price. Sorry to hear of your fall. Glad that you were more comfortable in the hammock. I'm wishing I could have a hammock inside...maybe in time.

I'm so glad to hear your ribs aren't broken, but bruises can be so very painful. It doesn't get any easier the older we get. I'm glad the hammock was there for you. Sending prayers out to you for fast mending.

I've cracked my ribs in the past, and it sucks! I pray for a speedy recovery for you.

Sorry to hear that. I know the feeling. Take your time and mend just as methodically as you would start a fire.
