    Is this tarp big enough?

I just bought a Simply Light Designs 11 ft.Streamliner DL in camo. I was looking at getting a Jacks R Better MT. Washington 3 underquilt and the JRB 11x10 Cat tarp to go with it. Will this tarp b big enough for the hammock? I assume the SLD hammock is 11 ft. Before it is gathered together on the suspension line. Or do I need to look for a different tarp? Weight does matter. Trying to go as light as possible. Thanks for the input.

When you factor in the sag you will use in your hammock, the effective length of the hammock ridgeline will be around 109"-110" as a starting point. So any 11' long tarp will provide enough coverage for this length hammock.

Simply Light Designs also makes tarps, if I recall correctly.

    Cheers

Plenty of room. The hammock might be 11ft, but it is measured between whippings before being hung. The actual hung length will be roughly 83% of 11'. Hope this helps.
