Just a reminder for the Saturday's main event

Alright Guys and gals here we go, just 10 days to go. I very excited and could use a nice break before my last few weeks of college.
Any-who, I'm also very excited about the gear swap this year! The drawing will be held on Saturday night before dark. The gear drawing is free for all to enter, just bring something and you'll get something. Though, I'll bring some extras just in case. I don't like any one to be left out.

Oh and did I mention that we have some DONATED ITEMS from our awesome HF vendors!?!
Dutchware, 2QZQ, Zpacks, Hammeck, and Stovedaddy (well duh) for certain and possibly a couple stragglers.

Let's bring our A game on this one folks: Items in the past have been (but are not limited to): Tarp Guylines, Hammock suspension, Headlamps, knives, libations, Hammocks &/or accessories, Cook kits, and Outdoor books. New, slightly used, or DIY treasures. Don't feel the need to take out a loan, just do what you can.

I was thinking about a late night arrival, from what I understand the fire should be visible a few miles away. I doubt it though. How late do the festivities usually go into the night at these hangs?

I was shocked how close I had to get to the fire before I could here all the loud voices and even see the smoke . That little valley with it's twists and turns hides all indication of the big camp . You better let Mule put up a few markers if you 're coming in the first time in the dark IMHO .

I am planning to put up what I have left, but still, follow the creek, and when it splits follow the one on the right. You will have to cross it several times. See you all there. I'll be getting there tomorrow early afternoon but probably have to leave after the raffle Saturday.

I talked to Mule Yesterday the Indiana Bourbon Trail run from the Fire Tower to Crescent Valley !

How late we are up Saturday night depends on when the Bourbon runs out !

I was able to score some of the red and silver reflective tape from the trailer shop here at work, so I will mark the path back to the valley for those coming in after dark, this stuff lights up like Christmas lights when you shine a light on it
