    Structural Ridgeline on Ringbuckle Supports

Have any of you tried tying a structural ridgeline to the ring buckles themselves instead of down near the Lark's head where the supports attach to the fabric itself?

I figure that way you wouldn't have to worry about a thin ridgeline damaging the supports.

I tie mine directly onto the rings. I find that the rings tighten better under tension from the ridgeline.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?
The hanger formly known as "hammock engineer".

I tied a tarp to the rings just the other day. I realized that my ridge lines were too short to go around the trees, so I had to improvise.

Wow, this Ring Buckle system really is versatile. I like it more and more with each hanging.
