    If used with a pad it will keep you warm. Getting into it my pose an interesting challenge.

    Same problem as a sleeping bag - difficult to get into. And a quilt will still be lighter.

    I don't like the fact that one must rely on "tucking" the material instead of a zipper. I would hate to wake up with a cold spot because one part came untucked.

    Interesting option if your hikes are going to include some ground sleeping.

    If I did not already have a good system in place for backpacking….I would be interested to see how it worked (modified) as a pod system.
