    I usually take the left over tails and join them as my ridgeline to hold up my bugnet and ridgeline organizer. I made extremely long whoopies compared to most I've seen on this forum and usually have just enough to connect the two. Your thread got me to thinking in a situation where they aren't long enough to connect, which has happened, a couple of loop aliens or some Dutch hardware and a smaller piece of zing it to bridge the gap might work. That would help make my way too long whoopies some what of dual use. Just an idea.
