    Very well put!

Through this forum I have done things like canoed and kayaked, been entertained and educated and connected with people in life who I would have never known. The ideas, creativity, and imagination of the cottage vendors and other DIY's is incredible. It has been interesting to watch the continuos growth.

Thank you past and present Moderators for all your efforts

Thanks gunner, for putting into words what many of us think. I am with Dutch on the respect thing, and since being involved here I have made a lot of friends, each of whom I value highly.

Respect for others is huge here, unlike many other forums I have been on. I have yet to see anyone say their way is the only way. Lots of good info and good people. I need to get out and meet more of you.

I have learned more than I would have ever figured out on my own and the people here are awesome. I may not post a whole lot but my browser usually has this forum open in at least one tab if not ten lol.

Big thumbs up to everything that's been said. I frequent another outdoor forum where folks aren't always helpful or civil. HF is like being among friends. Friends you've never actually met, but who are friends none the less. I can't wait to finally meet some of these great people at a group hang.

As for the OP's list..... I might have to disagree with the "no perfect hammock" thing. I've found that there is a perfect hammock. I just had to try them all out before I discovered which one it was.

Can't agree more with everything said on that list! I somehow stumbled onto Shug's vids on Youtube and lurked around here for a while trying to take in as much as I could.

I finally bit the bullet and have a WBBB coming my way (hopefully this week). Next step...get the girlfriend hooked

This truly is a great community, and I feel lucky to even be a fly on the wall for most of my time here!
